| About ATLIS
Aims
ATLIS (Access To Libraries In Swansea Bay) is an alliance of library
and information services within the City & County of Swansea and Neath
Port Talbot. ATLIS aims to improve access to information, and opportunities
for lifelong learning, for everyone who lives, works or studies in the
Swansea Bay area.
There are
more than thirty-five libraries within the City & County
of Swansea. These include Swansea Libraries, the libraries of the University
of Wales Swansea, Swansea Institute of Higher Education, Swansea College
and Gorseinon College, as well as several libraries for health professionals.
Neath Port Talbot Library and Information Service includes Neath Port
Talbot College as well as Neath Lending and Reference Library, Neath
Junior Library, Port Talbot Library and sixteen branch libraries.
